Two Major Reasons Why Evolution is False

There are more than two reasons why evolution is a false and cannot be believed, but here are two conclusive reasons evolution is satanic.

Archeology

Archaeology is a science.  It is the scientific study of material remains that authenticates the remains of human activities, civilizations, and life. It’s like a time capsule…the deeper you dig, the further you go back in time.  It’s history in the ground, basically, so let me first say that the mountainous collection of artifacts show indisputable evidence that the Bible is true and what was recorded actually happened in the places and times that the Bible states that they did.     

Philistine Temples

Let’s look at one example of how the Bible is authenticated as true and the accounts are actual historical accounts that actually took place in time and history.  In Judges 16:29-30 it tells about Samson’s end of life or how he died with the Philistines.  You might ask, “Could one man really pull down an entire temple” (Samson?)?   We know for certain that two Philistine temples have been uncovered by archaeologists.  One at Tel Qasile, in northern Tel Aviv, and one in Tel Miqne, ancient Ekron, 21 miles south of Tel Aviv.   Both temples share a unique design—the roof was supported by two central pillars!  The pillars were made of wood and rested on stone support bases.  One appeared to have collapsed from the center!!!!  Samson’s account and these temple finds seem to fit what was written in the Bible. 

Ancient Evidence

Did you know that there are well over 50,000 digs at 30,000 different locations that have been excavated.  These finds continue to provide substantial support of the Bible’s written record.  For example, some of the finds include names recorded such as Belshazzar, King Darius, and King Cyrus…all mentioned by name.   The Hittites, once thought to be mythological empires, have now been found to have existed after all.  King David’s reign was found recorded on ancient Egyptian inscriptions and there is evidence of the Regal House of Nebuchadnezzar.  They’ve even found a stone tablet bearing Pontius Pilate’s name.      

Amazing Finds
 
A piece of broken pottery was found at Masada which had an inscription that read, “Herod the Great King of the Jews” and was dated to the time that he was ruling in 19 B.C. which fit’s the time period mentioned in the Bible (Luke 1:5, Matt 2).  Also discoveries were made where the bones of Caiaphas the high priest were found in Peace Forest, just south of Jerusalem in an ossuary with the name Caiaphas on it.  They dated to be around 2,000 years old, just when the Jewish historian Josephus mentioned Josephus Caiaphas, a high priest who served around A.D. 18-36.  Even further, a seal with the inscription “Belonging to Abdi servant of Hoshea” was found in Israel and dated to the 8th century B.C.  Hosea was the very last King of Israel before the Assyrians invaded and conquered the nation.  The inscription of the seal matches the date of Hosea’s reign from 731-722 B.C. which fits perfectly with that which is recorded in the Old Testament.

Teams of Archeologists

A team of archaeologists headed by Dr. Avraham Biran, working in the Upper Galilee region, found written references to “The House of David” in both the Hebrew and Aramaic languages.  Dr. Biran commented that, “This is the earliest archaeological mention of King David.” 

These inscriptions also mention part of the Royal lineage of Israel and other Jewish Kings mentioned in the Old Testament and in the exact order that they are mentioned in 1 and 2 Kings and 1 and 2 Chronicles.   In the 1970’s, the Elba Archive was discovered in Northern Syria.  Contained in this archive is a listing of the patriarch’s accounts of places that they lived.   And an ancient column that is credited to Solomon mentions Mizoram (Hebrew name for Egypt) and the words in Hebrew of death, water, Edom, Yahweh, and Solomon.  Interestingly, this column was found near the Red Sea where tradition has it was the place where Israel crossed over at.

Lack of Fossil Evidence

Another reason why I don’t believe in evolution is because there is no physical, observable evidence.  If evolution were true, there should be multiple millions upon millions of transitional fossils…yet there is only a roaring silence of evidence.  Today, the only fossils we find are either of existing specie or those that have gone extinct.  Strong evidence that evolution is false is from what is called the Cambrian Explosion.  Why is it called an “explosion?”  Because most of the present species that exist today or have ever existed are found in what is known as the Cambrian layer or explosion.  This layer is consistent with the creation account of life as described in Genesis.

Carbon Dating Flaws

You cannot find any transitional evidence in fossils of animals or plants evolving from one life form or one plant into another.  There is no observable evidence of evolution in the fossil records; however there is strong evidence that fossil dating is not accurate.  For example, carbon dating is only good thru approximately 6,000 years, and for this reason, it is not a reliable method to date matter, especially if you get into the millions of years.   All living organisms, like trees, plants, people, and animals, absorb carbon-14 into their tissue.  When they die, the carbon-14 starts to change into other atoms over time.   This change in atoms is how scientists can estimate how long the organism has been dead.  They do this by counting the remaining carbon-14 atoms…but there’s a problem with this method.  Cataclysmic events or great heat and pressures (underground) can speed up the release of carbon-14 atoms or…extreme cold or oceanic depths can greatly slow down the carbon-14 release.   And, carbon-14 can be absorbed by surrounding matter as to complicate dating. This is why carbon dating rocks do not work out well.  It’s meant to test former living things, not inorganic material.  Some rocks from Hawaiian eruptions tested several thousands of years old, yet it was only within the past two decades that these rocks had formed. 

Fatal Flaws in Evolution’s Theory

Geological features are consistent with a worldwide flood as described in Genesis (causing rapid fossilization, i.e. the Cambrian Explosion).  I find it very interesting that the oldest known plant is the Gingko Biloba, dated to around 270 million years ago, yet it is exactly the same today as it was some “270 million years ago,” (????) although, once again, carbon dating methods cannot be trusted.  In fact, you cannot find any transitional evidence in fossils of plants or creatures which have evolved from one specie into another, so trying to find the “missing link” is futile because the entire chain is missing! 

Monkeys have not evolved one bit since arriving on the earth!  It’s the same for so-called other dinosaurs like opossums, crocodiles, and even cockroaches which are classified as being from the dinosaur age.  They are supposed to be millions of years old, yet the fossil evidence proves they have not changed one fraction!   The so-called evolutionary Tree of Life has the T-Rex on the same branch as the chicken!!  If you’re looking for fish, to reptiles, mammals to birds or monkeys to man fossils, you won’t find any because there is zero evidence of any of these transitional fossils.

Suppressing the Knowledge of God

Sadly, some Christians and many churches side with atheists in the sense that they believe in evolution…one called theistic evolution, but this too is a lie from hell because it robs glory from God and tries to take Him out of the picture, not only as Creator, but as their Redeemer.  They want to discount God so that they can continue to sin with a clear conscience.  If they can explain the origin of life and the universe, they can leave God out of it and out of their lives.  That’s why evolution is satanic.  Those who believe in it and teach it are suppressing the obvious knowledge that God is the Creator of all life (Rom 1:18-21) because each life form is from its own kind (Gen 1:11-12), not evolved.  God did not create the cell or amoeba to become something else.  Seeker-sensitive churches want to embrace the theories of the world so that they will be more accepted by the world, but we must speak the biblical truth, regardless of what scientist think.   It’s what God thinks that really matters in the end.

Conclusion

In conclusion, if you have not yet been brought to repentance and faith, you are clearly in real danger of hell fire right now as you read this.  Every single person is only one breath, one heartbeat…one accident away from eternity.  Then it will be too late to repent and trust in Christ.  This is why today is the best day to believe (2 Cor 6:2). Tomorrow is not guaranteed to any of us.  If Jesus Christ came back today, read what happens to you (Matt 7:21-23).  This is why I plead with you as you read this, repent today and put your trust in Jesus Christ.  If you do not, you will face God’s judgment after death guaranteed (Heb 9:27), or at Jesus Christ’s appearance (Rev 20:12-15), whichever comes first.

The Foundation of the Apostles & Prophets & Their Cessation

The Foundation of the Apostles and Prophets [my emphasis added]

[Proof Text?]  Eph 4:11-13 And he gave [past tense] the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds (pastors) and teachers (Sun School, Child.Church) to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.” Notice that there are qualifications for pastors, deacons and elders (Titus 1 & 1 Tim 3) but none are given for apostles and prophets. That’s because thier time has come and gone. We have the whole Word of God, therefore no more revelation is needed.

Bible Verses Showing the Cessation of the Apostles and Prophets

Heb 1:1-3  Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke [past tense] to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken [past tense] to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world.

Jude 1:3-4 Beloved, although I was very eager to write to you about our common salvation, I found it necessary to write appealing to you to contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints.  For certain people have crept in unnoticed who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into sensuality and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.

John Baptist was last of Prophets (O. T. Prophet) – John the last Apostle –  And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. Rev 21:14  Only 12 Pillars in the Temple in the Kingdom (for Apostles).

Building on the Foundation

Eph 2:19-22 So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God built [past tense] on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord.In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit. {Another Foundation after 2,000 years?!]

1 Corinthians 3:9 “For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, God’s building.“

Deut 18:20-22 “But the prophet who speaks a word presumptuously in My name, a word which I have not commanded him to speak, or which he speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet shall die.’ And if you say in your heart, ‘How will we recognize the word which the Lord has not spoken?’ When the prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, and the thing does not happen or come true, that is the thing which the Lord has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you are not to be afraid of him.”

Ezk 14:10 “And they shall bear their punishment–the punishment of the prophet and the punishment of the inquirer shall be alike.”

Another Word from God?

Self-proclaimed “prophets” who have “a word from God” or “new revelation” are essentially saying, “I Love Your Word, God, the Bible, but it’s not enough…we need more revelation!”

2 Pet 1:18-21 “We ourselves heard this very voice borne from heaven {God-transfig.}, for we were with him on the holy mountain. And we have [past tense] the prophetic word more fully confirmed, to which you will do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts, knowing this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone’s own interpretation. For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.”

Adding to His Word

Prov 30:6  Do not add to his words, lest he rebuke you and you be found a liar.

“You shall not add to the word which I am commanding you, nor take away from it, so that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I am commanding you” (Deut 4:2).

Rev 22:18-19 “I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.”

 1 Cor 15:15 “Moreover, we are even found to be false witnesses of God, because we testified against God that He raised Christ, whom He did not raise, if in fact the dead are not raised.”

Peter warned that there are “But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of truth will be blasphemed. And in their greed they will exploit you with false words. Their condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep” (2 Pet 2:1-3).

Paul wrote, “For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds” (2 Cor 11:13-15).

Jesus warned END TIMES “false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect” (Matt 24:24).

How Churches Are Falling Away From Biblical Truth

More and more churches are falling away from biblical truth and teaching and compromising with the world and there may be churches near you who are abandoning the truth once delivered.  

Abandoning the Faith

The growth of churches which are falling away from biblical truth and teaching and compromising with the world is growing exponentially and in fact, there may be churches near you who are abandoning the truth once delivered.   Churches that are abandoning biblical doctrine to compromise with the world is nothing new for even in Jude’s day he “found it necessary to write appealing to you to contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints” (Jude 1:3).  Why did it necessary for Jude to write about contending for the faith once originally delivered?  It’s because “certain people have crept in unnoticed who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into sensuality and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ” (Jude 1:4).  They were changing the gospel into cheap grace and denying that Jesus is God and Lord.  Some cults teach that Jesus was created which is heresy.  Churches want to make Jesus more human and thus, more acceptable.  If they teach about a Jesus Who is compromised and compromise with sin, then they can increase church attendance.  That means more “offerings.”    

 Falling Away

Just as it was prophesied that a great falling away would come, the Apostle Paul also foresaw that many would depart from the faith delivered by Jesus Christ and passed on through the Apostles.  We expect the world to get worse before Jesus’ return but we must expect that “In the last time there will be scoffers, following their own ungodly passions” (Jude 1:18).  What we don’t expect, but should, is churches that teach and preach or allow sexual immorality, so even in churches now, they are “following their own ungodly passions” (Jude 1:18) and not following the teaching about God’s judgment on the sexually immoral (Rev 21:8). Any pastor that marries same-sex couples is not in the church Jesus’ built. Satan has his own sinister ministers, and thus, Satan has his own churches too so beware!

The Altar of Pragmatism

Pragmatism has crept into the church today, even if the church is unaware of it, so what is pragmatism?  It is essentially this; if it works most of the time for most of the people it must be right.  If some program brings more people into the church, it must be right, but that’s not actually a good thing.  If people come into the church for the wrong reasons and not for the desire of repentance and faith in Christ, but instead, they come to have their needs, comforts and wants met, they will never truly be saved.  If they are simply pampered and catered to, then their faith will not be genuine.  Pragmatism has produced more tares or false converts in the church than perhaps anything else. 

Gifts over Fruits

Jesus said that we will know them by their fruits, not by their gifts.  Spiritual gifts are given by God at His discretion and not everyone has the same gift. That would not make up a balanced Body of Christ.  Those who covet gifts of the Spirit are more likely worshiping and glorifying the Holy Spirit and not Jesus.  Jesus said that the Holy Spirit would testify of Him and not bring attention to Himself (John 15:26).  The Holy Spirit points to Jesus and to make know the things Jesus wants revealed to us.  Anything that overshadows the fruits (like the gifts can and often do) does not give others a means to identify who Jesus’ disciples truly are. The greatest gift is love and that his how people will not who Jesus disciples really are (John 13:34-35).  It is not by their gifts but by their fruits they will be known, chief among the fruits will be love (1 John 2).  Even so, some churches teach that unless you speak in tongues, you are not saved.  They elevate the gifts over the Gift Giver and worship the Holy Spirit and not Jesus Christ.  That’s sin!

Biblical Model

I get a lot of junk mail, much of it telling me how to grow the church.  These types of programs almost always try to grow the church by means not seen in the Bible.  They want you to buy their supplements and training materials to help “you build the church.”  This totally ignores what Jesus said that He would build His church (Matt 16:18).  He never told Peter, “Peter, you and I are going to build My church together.”  He never told that to anyone.  It is His church and He will build it, so it is not Peter’s church nor is it my church.  It is His church and He is the Head and He says “He” will build it or grow it, not me or anyone else or any program.  God alone gives the increase (Acts 2:47), but He is pleased to use us as a means to do so.  He could build it without us, but we can’t build it without Him.  

Women Pastors, Apostles & Prophets

Even though the Bible forbids women to be ordained as pastors (Titus 1; 1 Tim 3), there are twice as many women pastors being ordained today than men.  Even though it’s contrary to biblical truth and doctrine, it wins many people to the church and they build the church upon an unbiblical pastorate and spurn the teachings of Scripture.  That’s a serious fall from Scripture. And it is compromising God’s requirements for elders, deacons and pastors.

Conclusion

One church I know requires members to tithe to have the right to vote on church boards.  Legalism is deadly poison to the church too because no works could ever save us (Eph 2:8-9).  Where pastors preach expository preaching from Scripture you will find the best churches and most sound doctrine. I am thankful that my wife, Martha and I, are in a rock-solid church here in Kansas.

I pray you’ve already trusted in Christ and discover what God’s will is for your life; what He has called you to do (Matt 25:35-36; 28:18-20).  If you have still not trusted in Christ, God will say no to you regarding your entering into the Kingdom.  Repent today and trust in Christ or face God’s judgment after death (Heb 9:27) or at Christ’s appearance (Rev 20:12-15), whichever comes first.

5 Bible Facts To Defend The Resurrection Of Jesus Christ

Christians talk about Jesus being raised from the dead, but is there really any factual or historical evidence for it?

The Gospel

What is the gospel?  After John was put in prison, Jesus came, saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel” (Mark 1:15), so the gospel includes repenting of our sins and believing the gospel.  In essence, it’s putting our trust in the Savior.  Sharing the gospel message is most urgently needed in these days leading up to Christ’s second coming.  Who knows?  There may not be much time left, so that’s why sharing Christ is vitally important. 

Of Vital Importance

The Apostle Paul says the gospel is “of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep” (1 Cor 15:3-6). Paul includes in the gospel; Jesus’ life, death, burial and resurrection on the third day.   It is those who believe this message who will be saved, for that belief includes believing  that Jesus came to die and give His life as a ransom for them and others (Mark 10:45).

Eye Witnesses

The Jewish historian Josephus, who was not a Christian, still recognized Christianity as a major force in the first century.  He recorded the fact that there were several hundred eye witnesses who say that they saw Jesus before and after His crucifixion, death, and resurrection.  The Apostle Paul said the same thing in writing, “I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures,  that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures” (1 Cor 15:3-4).  That is the gospel of Jesus Christ.   Not only had Jesus “appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.  Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep” (1 Cor 13:5-6).  That’s several hundred very reputable eye witnesses there that are listed here!

Historical Facts

But Paul’s not done yet because he says about the resurrected Christ, “Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles.  Last of all, as to one untimely born, he appeared also to me” (1 Cor 13:7-8).  Paul is staking his very reputation by saying he had seen the resurrected Christ, and it’s highly likely that Paul had seen Jesus before Calvary too.  The Apostle Paul and that list of eye witnesses lend enormous validity to the testimony that Jesus Christ was raised from the dead.  Can you imagine Peter, Paul, James, and over 500 other eye witnesses all lying, and for something that wasn’t true?  Josephus believed in Jesus’ existence, and he wrote, “At this time there was a wise man who was called Jesus.  And his conduct was good, and he was known to be virtuous.  And many people from among the Jews and the other nations became his disciples. Pilate condemned him to be crucified and to die. And those who had become his disciples did not abandon his discipleship. They reported that he had appeared to them after his crucifixion and that he was alive; accordingly, he was perhaps the Messiah concerning whom the prophets have recounted wonders.” [1]

Dying for their Faith

Most people would live for a lie, but few would die for one, so the death of the apostles by being martyred for their faith is evidence that they believed in Jesus’ resurrection and the gospel was no lie.   And why wouldn’t they?  They were eye witnesses to Jesus’ resurrection.   If they knew it was a lie, then why would they suffer and die for it?  It doesn’t make sense.  The Twelve Apostles were either crucified, beheaded, tortured, stoned to death or hacked to death, so we ask again, would people live, suffer, and die for something they knew was a lie?  Especially dying such horrendous deaths?   I wouldn’t.  Would you?

Tangible Evidence

It’s been said that there is enough evidence for the resurrection that it could be proven in a court of law.  To begin with, there are dozens of written testimonies that declare Jesus’ existence as a tangible fact.  The Apostle John wrote, “That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we looked upon and have touched with our hands, concerning the word of life— the life was made manifest, and we have seen it, and testify to it and proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and was made manifest to us” (1 John 1:1-3).  Notice three things here:  John heard the message of Jesus with his own ears; John saw the miracles with his own eyes; and John touched the very God-Man Jesus Christ with his own hands, meaning He was like other men in form here on earth and was a fact of history.  John testifies to what he heard, saw, and felt, and all three of those evidences are conclusive. 

Conclusion

After Jesus’ resurrection, Luke the Physician says that Jesus “presented himself alive to them after his suffering by many proofs, appearing to them during forty days and speaking about the kingdom of God” (Acts 1:3), so Jesus was around for well over a month after His resurrection.  Surely there were hundreds of others who saw Him during that time. For more reading on evidence of Jesus’ resurrection, see Luke 24:15-24, Act 2:31-32, 9:3, 17, I Cor 15:4-8, 2 Pet 1:16-21, and John 3:2, 15:27.  If God has never brought you to repentance and faith in Christ, I plead with you to put your trust in the Savior and do so before you die (Heb 9:27), making today as the best day of salvation for you (2 Cor 6:2).  That’s because tomorrow may not come with a chance of repentance and faith in Christ (Heb 9:27).  Trust Him today, while there’s yet time.
